12/29/2010 - Great layout and top conditioning. Last poster must have missed yardage marked on all sprinklers to front middle and back of greens and 150 stakes in center of each fairway. Known by good players as one of the best layouts in the Tampa area, now I see why. Don't miss play when in the area. Super treatment by staff from bag drop, starter, golf shop staff and ranger. Below please find directions from various locations to Dunes Golf Club, Weeki Wachee ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Directions from Brooksville: In Brooksville take Rte. 50 west to US19. Take US 19 north for approx. 10 miles. The golf course will be on your right side(golf course is right off US 19). Directions from Generic Directions: The golf course is located off US 19 in Brooksville, north of Tampa and west of I-75. From the I-75 / US 98 (exit 301 / Rte 50) intersection:Take US 98 west (Note: US 98 will turn into SR 50) to US 19 in Weeki Wachee.Take US 19 north and you will see the golf course on your right (approx. 10 miles north of the intersection of US 19 and SR 50/US 98 - golf course is right off US 19). Directions from Largo: Go to US19. Take US 19 north. Approx. 10 miles after you pass Rte. 50 (still going north on US19) you will see the golf course on your right (golf course is right off US 19). Directions from Madeira Beach: Go to US19. Take US 19 north. Approx. 10 miles after you pass Rte. 50 (still going north on US19), you will see the golf course on your right (golf course is right off US 19). Directions from Naples I-75: Take I-75 to exit 61- Rte. 50. Take Rte. 50 west to US19. Take US 19 north for approx. 10 miles and you will see the golf course on your right (golf course is right off US 19). Directions from New Port Richey: Go to US19. Take US 19 north. Approx. 10 miles after you pass Rte. 50 (still going north on US19) you will see the golf course on your right (golf course is right off US 19). Directions from Palm Harbor: Go to US19. Take US 19 north. Approx. 10 miles after you pass Rte. 50 (still going north on US19) you will see the golf course on your right (golf course is right off US 19). Directions from Tampa Airport: Take I-275 west to Rt.589/Veterans Expressway toll road north. Continue north on Rt.589--it will change names to Suncoast Parkway-- until it ends at Rt. 98 near Brooksville. Go west on Rt.98 to US19. Turn left/south onto US19 and go 3 miles. You will see the golf course on your left. |
